Live from Koroneihana

Koroneihana celebrations are in the final days at Turangawaewae Marae in Ngaruawahia. The event is a week-long annual celebration of the anniversary of the Maori monarch's accession and coronation. This week Te Arikinui Kuini Nga wai hono i te po welcomed groups from all over the country including a delegation of politicians and iwi leaders who arrived on Friday.
