Wait... Let Me Start That Again! | Radical Self-Acceptance & Being Gloriously Human | Ep. 51

TAKE 41. Yep. You heard that right.

Welcome to Episode 51 of Soulful Saturdays with Saylor—and today, we're pulling back the curtain.

Because what you hear in a podcast is usually the polished version.

But what you DON'T hear?

The restarts.
The bloopers.
The brain freezes.
The words that refuse to cooperate.
The technology that suddenly develops an attitude.
And, in my case, the moments when my dyslexia decides it has something to say.

And you know what?

I'm done being embarrassed about being human.

This episode is all about RADICAL SELF-ACCEPTANCE and what I've learned over the past three years of creating Soulful Saturdays with Saylor.

We're talking about why we feel like we have to present the polished version of ourselves, why we're so afraid of making mistakes, and what happens when we stop editing our humanity.

Because here's something I know now:

A mistake is something I DID. It is not who I AM.

And if I had waited until I knew I could speak perfectly before I became a speaker...

HECK NO. I never would have done it.

As someone with dyslexia, did I ever imagine myself becoming a speaker?

Absolutely NOT.

But I did it anyway.

And I've made plenty of mistakes along the way.

Plenty.

And guess what?

I'm still here.

Still speaking.

Still creating.

Still learning.

Still laughing.

Still taking the next take.

Because maybe the goal isn't to become a perfectly polished human being.

Maybe the goal is to become more fully ourselves.

In this episode, we're talking about:

✨ Radical self-acceptance
✨ The pressure to appear perfect
✨ Why we need to stop editing our humanity
✨ Fear of making mistakes and being judged
✨ Dyslexia, speaking, and doing it anyway
✨ Learning to laugh at yourself
✨ Authenticity and unapologetic soulful living
✨ Why a mistake doesn't define you
✨ What three years of Soulful Saturdays have taught me
✨ And yes...a few bloopers along the way!

Here's your question for today:

What part of yourself are you still trying to hide because you're afraid someone might see that you're not perfect?

Maybe it's time to stop hiding it.

Maybe it's time to laugh.

Maybe it's time to say:

“Well...that didn't go as planned.”

And then...

“Wait. Let me start that again.”

Because starting again isn't failure.

Sometimes... it's just the next take.

#saylorsjourney #womensupportingwomen #youmatter #SoulfulSaturdays #Saylor #CindySaylor #RadicalSelfAcceptance #SelfAcceptance #GloriouslyHuman #AuthenticLiving #UnapologeticLiving #PersonalGrowth #SelfLove #Dyslexia #PodcastBloopers #BeYourself #WomenLivingGloriously #YouMatter
