Courage in the Face of Death

Mankind’s first act of disobedience centered around a lie told by the serpent. “Thou shalt not surely die.” We read the Bible and understand that while we started out in a garden, we moved into a graveyard.

We believe that Jesus will return to catch away believers, resurrect the dead and put an end to dying. Until that day we will experience life in the presence of a shadow. Jesus came to give us victory over the grave. We do not have to be

afraid of death.

How do we face death with courage?

Because of He who lives within me.

Because of He who walks beside me.

Because of He who watches over me.

Because of He who went before me.

Someday, those who have trusted in Jesus will experience all He has promised us. Do you know the Lord Jesus who has won our victory over death for us?
