There is a common misconception in real estate that every home should sell immediately.

Put the property on the market, place a sign in the yard, hold an open house, and wait for the offers to roll in.

In reality, selling a home is rarely that simple.

Even in an active market, some properties receive multiple offers within days while others take several weeks or longer to find the right buyer. That doesn't automatically mean something is wrong with the home.

It does mean sellers need to understand why buyers may not be responding and whether something about the property's pricing, presentation, marketing, or positioning needs to change.
