Big Government Is Spending Billions of Taxpayer Dollars To Pay Someone For Jobs Nobody's Doing

Across the country, at both state and federal levels of our government, various agencies have countless employees. That may not sound very surprising to you, but maybe this will change that for you; I don't mean too many to count; I mean that they can't be counted because the positions are empty. In a phenomenon known as ghost employees, people leave a job, and the position remains vacant, or the government agency creates a new job and never fills it, budgeting for salaries and benefits for those positions. When caught, they argue that the position must be filled and that, when it is, they will need the approved funds to cover the costs of bringing on new people. They even claim this if the job in question has been open for years. When asked why the posts have remained vacant for so long, the universal response remains, "unqualified applicants." I am scheduled to be joined by Jonathan Dever, a former Ohio State Representative, former Chairman of the Ohio House Financial Institutions, Housing and Urban Development Committee, retired attorney, founder and former CEO of Wyoming-chartered digital bank Commercium Financial, current Chief Operating Officer of Proximity, Inc., and author of the forthcoming Grift trilogy, is scheduled to join me to discuss the the government ghost employee phenomenon and what happens to the hundereds of millions of taxpayer dollars paying for jobs that no one is doing.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is escalating her criticism of the Democratic Party's handling of antisemitism, warning that the party has become increasingly hostile to Jewish Americans and expressing concern that U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed has never withdrawn comments she says appeared to rationalize an attempted attack on a Michigan synagogue.
