SGA supports an extensive grassroots network of local evangelical missionary pastors and churches in cities and rural villages across this vast region.</p><p>For many Ukrainian children, their earliest memories are marked by war. Summer Camps sponsored by Illinois-based Slavic Gospel Association (SGA) offer them a glimpse of the childhood they were meant to have.<br><strong>Key facts:</strong></p><ul><li>More than 80,000 children are expected to attend SGA-supported summer Bible camps across Ukraine and the former Soviet Union this year.</li><li>Since 2022, 279,058 children and teenagers have attended the camps.</li><li>Camps provide meals, games, friendships, Bible teaching and practical support for children affected by war, displacement, loss, hunger and food insecurity.</li><li>At one recent camp in southern Ukraine, nearly 100 children knelt in prayer.
