Minister Calyen was born and raised in Navasota, Texas. She was raised in a loving Christian home. She is the oldest of three girls. She remembers attending church and Sunday School regularly. Min. Calyen served in the youth choir and one of her favorite hymns is Blessed Assurance.

Min. Calyen serves under the leadership of Pastor Rolando West at Fountain of Faith Church, and she has a Nursing Home Ministry.

Min. Calyen is the author of the book: A Widow at Forty-Five: Until Death Do Us Part .

She was a widow for 16 years. She just recently got married after meeting the love of her life, Elder Henry Calyen. They dated for six months and then got married on October 5, 2024.

She describes her life with Elder Calyen as real. It is a very loving relationship. Min. Calyen is here to share her newfound life.
