Ep. 150 | Deuteronomy Pt. 9

In this ninth message from our Deuteronomy series, Pastor Jason Nix explores what Israel’s laws concerning food, tithing, generosity, and debt reveal about the heart of God. Deuteronomy 14 & 15 shows that God’s people were called to be set apart, active participants in his covenant, and ordered in the practices of everyday life.

Looking at the Levitical tithe, the annual festival tithe, the triennial welfare tithe, and the release of debts, this sermon challenges the idea that biblical giving is merely about meeting a fixed percentage. God uses generosity to confront self-sufficiency, provide for the vulnerable, and form his people in justice, mercy, faithfulness, and wholehearted obedience. The deeper question is not simply, “How much should I give?” but, “Does God have all of me?”

For more info visit: RGMCA.ORG
