A company’s COO is the Chief Operating Officer. Their job is to make sure the organization keeps running. But, for private school leaders, I believe that COO has a second meaning. You're also the Chief Optimism Officer and part of your job is to make sure that hope is alive and well at your school, regardless of the circumstances.
