Noah Gets Drunk While God Paints His Promise in the Sky | Beers with Jesus (Genesis 9)
<p>We’re back after a few weeks off! In this episode of Beers with Jesus, Todd and Carrie dig into Genesis 9 — the rainbow covenant, God’s call to “live bountifully,” and the surprisingly awkward story of Noah planting a vineyard, getting drunk, and ending up naked in his tent. What exactly did Ham do that was so bad? Why does Noah curse Canaan instead of Ham? Is getting drunk actually a sin in the Bible, or is it something deeper? And how does all of this connect to the fruit of the Spirit and living a lavish life in God? No preaching. No science debates. Just two friends (one Catholic, one mostly evangelical) reading the story as it’s written, asking honest questions, and exploring the bigger picture of God, judgment, and redemption.
