Holly is a troubled teen with a dead mother and a father who just can't seem to relate to her. But her days of endless ennui are disrupted with the arrival of Blake--a handsome young greaser who reminds her of James Dean. Yet when her father disapproves of their relationship, the two of them are forced on the run across the country. Can they find their own little version of the American Dream?
