Episode 253: Evan Prendergast (Dead Cult Promotions)

Today on the podcast I am delighted to announce that Evan Prendergast will be making his return on the podcast!

Normally having a guest on like Evan, we would be focusing on his work with his band Low Violent, Uncultivates and Worn Out but for this particular episode, the primary focus is going to be about how Evan is the proud owner of Dead Cult Promotions, a staple of the Metal, Hardcore, Punk and Alternative music scene here in Ireland.

I'll be chatting with Evan about why he started Dead Cult in the first place, how he built it up to what it is now, what are some of the major things he's learned along the way, what he looks for in band's to put on and what the ethos of Dead Cult is all about.

There has been many mornings where I've looked at my Instagram stories to see incredible shows after shows that Dead Cult put, it was a huge pleasure to have Evan back on to pick his brain about the inner workings of putting on shows.

The next Dead Cult show is tomorrow night in Dali, Cork where they will be putting on the first date of the Irish and UK Tour for a American Hardcore band SPACED with fellow American Hardcore band Dry Socket, Stanton's Grave and Poser.
