Celtic's "Swing & Miss" Excuse: Desmond's Lack Of Vision Exposed! // ACSOM // A Celtic State of Mind

🍀 Welcome back to A Celtic State of Mind! We are the award-winning ACSOM podcast and fan channel. We bring you daily debate, match previews, post-match reactions, and exclusive interviews from the heart of the Celtic community.

Tonight, Celtic are back under the lights in Europe, but the shadow of the board's lack of ambition still looms large. Last year at the Celtic AGM, Ross Desmond infamously claimed that "if we swing and miss in Europe, it’s a long way down." But after embarrassing exits at the hands of Kairat and LASK, Celtic fans are no longer buying the excuses.

While clubs like Bodo/Glimt prove that elite organisation, modern recruitment, and forward-thinking coaching can allow smaller teams to compete, the Celtic board continues to sell the support a total lack of vision. Today on ACSOM, we expose the "swing and miss" mentality and ask: when will Celtic finally behave like a modern European club?
