Episode 263: Lautaro Churuvija, Steiger International (Part 1)
What does it take to reach a generation that has little interest in church—but is still searching for hope, purpose, and truth?
This week on Advancing the Mission, we begin a special two-part conversation with Lautaro Churuvija from Steiger International, one of County Line Church's newest ministry partners. Steiger exists to mobilize followers of Jesus to reach the global youth culture—especially young adults who would never consider walking into a church.
In Part 1, Lautaro shares his incredible testimony of how God radically transformed his life and called him into missionary work. From his own journey of faith to serving young people around the world, his story is a powerful reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace.
In Part 2, we take a deeper look at the mission of Steiger and why their approach is so needed in today's culture. Lautaro explains the unique challenges of reaching young adults who are skeptical of faith, disconnected from the Church, or simply uninterested in traditional ministry. Together, we discuss why the Church must be willing to go where people are, build authentic relationships, and communicate the gospel in ways that connect with those who have never experienced it.
One of the central themes of this conversation is developing a heart for people who are far from God. We explore what it means to allow God to break our hearts for the lost, why compassion must lead us into action, and how every follower of Jesus can become more intentional about sharing the hope of the gospel in everyday life.
Whether you're passionate about evangelism, interested in global missions, or simply asking how the Church can better reach the next generation, this conversation will encourage and challenge you to see the lost the way Jesus does.
