<p>The Blue Jays’ playoff hopes are hanging by a thread, Lindsay isn’t sleeping, and we’re officially wondering whether this relationship is becoming toxic. After a rough series against the Rangers, we’re joined by casual Jays fan Joanna and her dad Cliff, a diehard fan who’s been cheering for the team since their very first season , to talk about what went wrong, whether there’s still reason to believe, and why being a baseball fan sometimes requires a <em>lot</em> of patience.</p><p>Cliff takes us through nearly 50 years of Jays fandom — from $2 tickets at Exhibition Stadium and sneaking Canadian Club into games to Bautista’s bat flip and the heartbreak of last season.
