Kerrang June 1992: Hello Seattle! Grunge vs metal, Pearl Jam vs Firehouse and Iron Maiden vs the charts

We're keeping the Grunge Dream alive - Pearl Jam are on the cover, because it's 1992, and we give them a listen, along with Mother Love Bone and Temple of the Dog. Iron Maiden are still plugging away with their particular peculiar brand of Heavy Metal, while their former lead singer professes his love of Queen.

Meanwhile there's a ghost hunting update, much respect to Dolly Parton, an examination of the semiotics of the video vamp, and whether it's too early to celebrate Halloween *and* Christmas.
