The Silence Beneath the Needle

The station is dark. Luna has lifted the needle from her own voice, but the silence is not empty. She follows a faint hum through a mirror maze of alternate lives, confronts a copy of her mother writing her story, and learns that to truly end the station she must find the silence before the first note. A child appears, offering a terrible answer. Luna descends into a basement of stopped clocks and a cradle where her mother's face waits, speaking in Luna's voice.
