I told him how much I rated it, and asked why he swapped podcasting for writing. His answer: fiction lets him say things about technocracy, surveillance and the biosecurity state that people would switch off from if he said them plainly, and it works. I highly recommend it, it challenges you to confront systems of control and the cost of compliance.</p><p>We get into how storytelling has always shaped culture, and how it is being used now to normalise digital ID, surveillance capitalism and the slow drip of a &quot;new normal.&quot; As I always say, convenience is not convenient to your health.</p><p>We go deeper into false idols and why we hand our power to whoever promises to save us. My message stays the same: do not bow down to anyone, see the divine in yourself first. And a reminder that real resistance looks less like doom scrolling and more like putting your hands in the dirt.</p><p>Loved having Aaron back.
