The Red Letters, Week 4: The Capstone
<p>For centuries God’s people, Israel, rejected God’s messengers, the prophets. Ultimately, they would even reject God’s Son. At the root of the rejection was active rebellion against God’s will and selfish pride. In this message, we explore Jesus teaching that though he was rejected by the religious leaders of his day, he is in fact the capstone – the most important stone in God’s Kingdom. We will be challenged to examine whether we have truly received Christ or resisted his claim over us. When we accept Jesus as the cornerstone of our lives, we find strength in the one who turns rejection into redemption.
