✎ One of the biggest reasons people don't take action is because they overthink and get stuck trying to create the perfect plan. In this video, Evan Carmichael breaks down how the quest for perfection leads to paralysis and inaction. He explains that you’ll never have all the information, and waiting until everything is perfect is a trap. Using examples like starting a YouTube channel or a fitness journey, Evan encourages us to take action on the first 2%—just begin, even if it’s imperfect, and learn as you go.

Evan also talks about the power of self-belief and how successful people, like Mel Robbins and Steve Jobs, didn’t wait for perfect conditions—they believed in themselves and got started. He shares personal lessons from his own life, emphasizing the importance of pushing through challenges and not getting stuck in a loop of overthinking. By expecting to "suck" at first and focusing on continuous improvement, we can overcome the fear of failure and start making progress toward our goals.

Throughout the video, Evan also highlights key tips like learning from jealousy, trusting your intuition, and focusing on surrounding yourself with the right people. He reminds us that action breeds success, and those who believe in themselves, start early, and keep going despite obstacles are the ones who ultimately win. If you’ve been holding back because you’re afraid to fail or not ready yet, this video is the push you need to get started and keep going.
