Ep 229 // You Don’t Have to Be the Woman Who Can Do It All - Just Because You Can Carry It Doesn’t Mean You Should
Just Because You Can Carry It Doesn’t Mean You Should
As a working Christian mom, it can be easy to believe that being faithful means being available, capable, and dependable all the time. But what if you were never meant to carry everything?
In today's episode, I'm talking about the pressure many women feel to do more, handle more, and keep everything together. The problem isn't always that we're doing bad things. Sometimes we're simply carrying too many good things.
God created us with limits. Our time, energy, and attention are finite—and those limitations aren't something we need to overcome. They're something we need to steward.
Instead of asking, “How can I fit more into my life?” we can begin asking, “What has God actually asked me to carry?”
You'll be encouraged to consider the difference between being capable and being called, recognize when you're carrying responsibilities God hasn't given you, and find freedom in trusting Him with what you cannot carry.
You don't have to be the woman who can do it all.
You can be the woman who knows what God has asked her to do—and trusts Him with the rest.
