The Detroit Effect: Diarra Kilpatrick talks wild ideas, season three and AI

This just in… Cari has a clogged garbage disposal, and Jemele is pretty sure garbage disposals are a scam. There’s talk of toad in the hole and beans on toast, and that’s all before Cari and Jemele get to the interview with Diarra Kilpatrick, the multi-hyphenate who created Diarra from Detroit. The second season of this comedy-mystery series, filmed in Detroit, just wrapped, and Cari and Jemele are pulling for a season three order. And try to stay focused when you see Detroit’s newest small-screen star pop up. Jemele Hill’s IMDB credits are growing.
