Fort Laramie - "The Beasley Girls" (Old Time Radio, 1956)

Fort Laramie presents “The Beasley Girls,” episode 9 of the CBS frontier drama, originally broadcast March 18, 1956. Raymond Burr stars as Captain Lee Quince in this episode written by Kathleen Hite and produced and directed by Norman MacDonnell.

After a Sioux attack devastates a wagon train and leaves the Beasley girls missing, Quince seeks a way to bring them back without launching a direct assault. With Sioux chief Big Elk held at the fort, a possible prisoner exchange offers hope—but tensions within Quince’s own command may endanger the mission.

Fort Laramie presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
