The human body makes proteins just like those found in the marijuana plant. Endocannabinoids are made within the body, while phytocannabiniods are found in the plant. Nevermind the inconsistencies with naming convention here; these people do handle a lot of pot. The ECS is directly involved with the feedback loop on cell recovery and injury. This means that if you become deficient in endocannabinoids or their receptors, exogenous (outside) phytocannabinoids may help.
