Inside the Messy VMAs: Ariana's Shade, Sabrina's Statement, and Mariah's Rocky Performance

Let's get into Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, and Mariah Carey! This year's VMAs delivered plenty of chaos, and not all of it was on purpose. Ariana had a few visibly shady moments throughout the night that fans immediately clipped and picked apart. Sabrina used her performance slot to make a loud political statement, drawing both praise and backlash depending on who you ask. And Mariah, despite finally getting her flowers with a big career honor, turned in a performance that came off rougher than fans expected, mic issues and all. Add it all up and you get a show that trended for all the wrong reasons as much as the right ones.
