Slaying 93: Angel S2E8 “The Shroud of Rahmon”

Reposted from Still Slaying: A Buffy-verse podcast which you can find at Still Slaying: a Buffy-verse podcast | Podcastica. Fun, in-depth talk about great TV.

“I hate waiting. You got anybody to eat around here?”

Penny and Kara talk through this noir-heist episode and find some tangents along the way including ads on streaming platforms, Las Vegas as the perfect city for vampires, Heist movies like Ocean’s Eleven and The Thomas Crown Affair, Pierce Brosnan, James Bond, exploitative costuming, celebrity sightings, and, as usual, vampire dietary requirements.

Next time we’ll tackle BTVS Season 5, episode 8, “Shadow.”

Keep Slaying!
