#102 | Here Comes the Sun: Lake County Joy Summit with Jason Kotecki

In this uplifting and heart-expanding conversation, Sheryl sits down with Jason Kotecki, artist, speaker, and opening keynote for the Lake County Joy Summit 2026. Known as "the artist who speaks," Jason blends whimsy, wisdom, faith, and extraordinary creativity to help people beat burnout, rediscover wonder, and remember what truly matters.

With the Joy Summit theme Here Comes the Sun, Jason shares what joy, hope, and light mean to him both as an artist and as a human navigating a busy, often heavy world. This episode is a reminder that joy isn't frivolous, it's essential. And sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is give ourselves permission to play, imagine, and see life through brighter lenses. A playful reminder to break the rules that don't exist and let joy lead the way.

In this episode we'll explore:

Joy as a practice, not a luxury and why wonder and hope matter more than ever

Breaking imaginary rules, releasing stress, burnout, and self-imposed limits

Childlike creativity and faith reconnecting with purpose, balance, and light
