Adipeau, peptides and other "innovative" skincare worth knowing.
Most of the time, “innovation” in skincare is actually just marketing. But there are a few products and treatments that are really leveling up the game. It’s not the ingredients that have me excited, it’s the delivery systems.
We cover Adipeau (the two-step system that rebuilds your fat pads and, truly, unsponsored, one of my must-use products), peptides, a new cold sore duo, ectoin, innovations in microneedling, microcurrent, and the heat-based treatments to be careful with.
Enjoy!

Catching up
00:44 — Parenting teenagers, bad choices, and the not-yet-developed prefrontal cortex. Real life, before we get into the science.
What is “innovation”?
04:56 — Most new skincare is the same stuff in a different bottle. Real innovation is rare, and it isn’t about inventing a brand-new ingredient.
All in the delivery
06:01 — Innovation is translating nature’s wisdom: getting botanicals, oils, and actives into a form your body can actually recognize, absorb, and use.
Topical isn’t enough
