Ohgren came to Vancouver as part of the Quinn Hughes blockbuster alongside Marco Rossi and Zeev Buium, and now the Canucks have to figure out just how much they believe in his future.

Ohgren had 18 points in 51 games with Vancouver last season, but the 22-year-old winger is still trying to establish himself as a full-time NHL impact player.

And that's exactly what makes this so interesting.

Do the Canucks wait and see if Ohgren breaks out?

Or do they try to get ahead of the curve and sign him to an extension before the breakout happens?
