FOUR-PEAT: Robin Finley on Building a Women’s Box Lacrosse Dynasty

Four straight national championships.

Team Alberta U22 Female head coach Robin Finley joins Dawson Nielsen to break down the program’s historic four-peat at the Carol Patterson Cup and what has gone into building sustained success in Alberta.

The conversation goes beyond winning championships — diving into coaching women’s box lacrosse, the differences between coaching the women’s and men’s games, developing elite female players, building team culture, and the continued growth of women’s box lacrosse in Alberta.

Finley also shares his perspective on where the women’s game is headed and what needs to happen next as the sport continues to grow across Canada.
