Lose for Hughes Podcast: Episode 88 “Expected By Whom?”

<p>In this episode of the Lose for Hughes Podcast, we recap games three through six of the New Jersey Devils’ season, discussing NJ’s powerplay explosion over Vancouver, a flat effort against Ottawa, and a thrilling OT win over Detroit. We highlight NJ’s continued phenomenal 5-on-5 play, but their frustrating lack of scoring. However, we discuss the new line changes, including moving Gritsyuk up to the first line and Mantha down to the third and why those changes could produce more results. Additionally, we discuss the deployment of the defense, and why the coaching staff should consider differing defensive pairs based on certain situations.
