<p>日本（にほん）では夏（なつ）といえば花火（はなび）です。花火大会（はなびたいかい）もたくさんあるし、手（て）で持（も）つ花火（はなび）でみんなで遊（あそ）んだりするのも夏（なつ）の風物詩（ふうぶつし）です。</p><p>ですが、先日（せんじつ）オーストラリアの生徒（せいと）に、オーストラリアでは花火（はなび）を買（か）うことはできない、と言（い）われました。理由（りゆう）は、花火（はなび）を使（つか）ったいたずらが多（おお）いから。</p><p>似（に）たようないたずらはアメリカにもあるそうですが、アメリカでは普通（ふつう）に花火（はなび）が買（か）えるそうです。</p><p>そんな会話（かいわ）から、今回（こんかい）は日本人（にほんじん）のモラルやマナーについて多少（たしょう）触（ふ）れながら、花火（はなび）について話（はな）しました。</p><p>みなさんの国（くに）では花火（はなび）はできますか？笑In </p><p>Japan, summer means fireworks. There are lots of fireworks festivals, and getting together with friends or family and playing with handheld fireworks is also a classic part of summer in Japan.</p><p>The other day, though, one of my Australian students told me that you can’t just buy fireworks in Australia. Apparently, one of the reasons is that people have used them for pranks and caused trouble.</p><p>I heard that similar things happen in the US too, but apparently you can still buy fireworks there.</p><p>That conversation got us talking about fireworks, and also a little bit about manners and how people behave in Japan.</p><p>So, can you buy and use fireworks in your country?
