380. Left By The Wayside: The New Bedford Highway Killer

380. Left By The Wayside: The New Bedford Highway Killer7 oct1 h 07 min

New Bedford, Massachusetts, is famous for its busy fishing ports and rich history. But in the late 1980s, a massive wave of heroin and crack cocaine hit the city. With very little help available for drug addiction, many people found themselves trapped. Unfortunately, this made them easy targets for a dangerous killer.

Between May 1988 and April 1989, several women, most of them mothers struggling with addiction, disappeared. Their bodies were later found dumped along local highways like Route 140 and Interstate 195. Even though police investigated several main suspects, including a local lawyer, the case was never solved and went cold.

Join Jen and Cam, as they uncover the mystery: Left By The Wayside: The New Bedford Killer.
