Ep. 59 - Teens Working for a Greener Greenwich

Not every first job comes with a desk - or even a roof. The Greenwich Youth Conservation Program gives local teens ages 14 & 15 the chance to earn their first paycheck while getting their hands dirty and giving back to the community. Carol McGreevey, Chair of the GYCP Advisory Board, and Program Administrator Christina Nappi share how the program builds confidence, responsibility, teamwork and a deeper appreciation for Greenwich's parks and green spaces - one summer job at a time.
