167. A River is Like a Woman
Hello, beautiful!
A river never travels in a straight line. She begins small, high on a mountain or hidden in the forest. She rushes, she’s still, she goes over the rocks. Some seasons she is glass.
Women are like a river.
Some seasons she’s a current she didn't choose. And still, she’s always moving toward the sea.
This week something poured out of Heidi: a poem from years ago that suddenly grew into something much bigger.
Sitting with Day 7 of My Beloved and Isaiah 66:12, "when peace, like a river, attendeth my way," she found herself seeing her whole life in the water. The stillness and the strong current. The logs that stuck her for a season. The rocks that became waterfalls. And the One carrying her the whole way, like a raft, to the shore.
This is a gentle, floating kind of episode. Come rest in it.
You’ll Learn:
🌊 Why every season you've been through, the calm and the current, is still moving you forward 🌊 How to find peace on the log, in the season where you feel stuck
🌊 What it means to be carried, supported, and never alone
✨ Plus a poem, a prayer, and a blessing of peace spoken right over you.
