The Bad News (1 Timothy 1:8-11)

Why do we need the bad news before we can truly appreciate the Good News? In 1 Timothy 1:8–11, Paul explains how God’s law exposes our sin, reveals God’s holiness, and shows us our desperate need for Christ. The law gives us the bad news, but the Gospel gives us the glorious Good News of forgiveness, grace, and eternal life through Jesus Christ.
