No matter where you go in the world, you'll find toilets. But Lonely Planet editor Jessica Lockhart has discovered that not all toilets are made equal. In the new edition of Lonely Planet's Toilets of the World, she catalogues the weirdest and wildest loos a traveler may find in their sojourns. That includes Kiwi loos with magnificent views, latrines where toes may lap in the blue Mediterranean, and commodes older than the countries they are in.
