The summer heat is making a difference in the North Georgia apple season this year. This week, Scott's speaking with Anna Woodward, the Agricultural and Natural Resources Extension Agent in Fannin and Gilmer Counties. While there will be plenty of apples for picking through October, the harvest season has started several weeks early. And the lack of cooler temperatures is affecting the color, though not the quality, of the fruit.
