Hosts Tre'vell Anderson and Ray Love Jr. are grabbing their tissues and bracing their spirits for their review of the deeply emotional new indie coming-of-age drama, IF I GO WILL THEY MISS ME.

Ray and Tre'vell get into the nitty-gritty of the film's execution, unpacking how this heavy exploration of family, fatherhood, and escapism plays through the Black gaze. Tune in for their hella honest verdict: is this cinematic emotional rollercoaster a "Seated," "Stream It," or a "Skip It?"

The duo also pauses the breakdown for a little celebration with a special announcement from the 2026 Black Podcasting Awards.

To close the show, the hosts play a special "Canon Cousin: Paternal Bonds" edition of the Black Cinema Games. Ray is serving up five theatrical films that act as canonical cousins to the main review—specifically highlighting iconic movies centered on the complex, powerful, and sometimes turbulent dynamics between Black fathers and their sons.
