Episode 24: Mystery Tea and Japanese Haikus
Way to break a period of silence! I let my life happen for a while and haven’t been up to recording podcasts.I also have been craving an audio-cast rather than video; go back to my roots so to say. And thus, nothing for a month.
But that’s okay! I knew I would suddenly get inspiration and that’s exactly what happened today.
I opened up the cupboard to pull out a little tin of tea that I discovered the day before. It smelled AMAZING and definitely aged! I can’t remember when I must have filled it up; “10g Green” was written on it but I feel I refilled it since that label went on.
In this episode, I spend time musing over how brilliant the tea smells and tastes, and trying to figure out what kind it is! Maybe I’m out of touch because I couldn’t figure out if it was an oolong or black.
Later on, I dug into a book on Japanese Haiku and read some pieces, interpreting some of the valuable parts I noticed.
Cheers, keep steeping.
