SPB Sermons || The Quiet Soul | Psalm 131 | Rev Andrew Irwin

Three verses. A soul humbled, stilled, and hoping. In this sermon from Psalm 131, Rev Andrew Irwin takes us through one of the shortest and most quietly powerful psalms in Scripture — exploring how confidence in God produces humility rather than pride, how the gospel gives us a contentment the world cannot manufacture, and why David's closing command still rings out to every generation: put your hope in the Lord, both now and forevermore. Preached at St Paul's & St Barnabas, Belfast — Sunday 16 August 2026. www.spbbelfast.church
