Motheo Khoaripe speaks to Graham Wood, CEO of the V&A Waterfront, about The Bower, a R1.4 billion later-living development offering 147 hospitality-led units on Cape Town’s Atlantic seaboard. The development introduces a luxury model of later living built around independence, wellness, hospitality and access to care. The Bower forms part of the first phase of the V&A Waterfront’s broader R20 billion Granger Bay expansion, with occupancy expected from February 2028.
