Jonathan Bailey Books Movies with Natalie Portman and Laura Dern

Actor Jonathan Bailey has addressed rumors about an extended career break by confirming that he will return to work next year and is not taking all of 2026 off. The British star has officially joined the casts of two upcoming feature films, stepping into a courtroom drama titled Monsanto alongside Laura Dern and a psychological thriller called Pumping Black opposite Natalie Portman. Although he previously caused a stir by announcing a temporary step back from Hollywood to prioritize his LGBTQ+ advocacy charity, The Shameless Fund, his schedule remains exceptionally full. In addition to his new movie roles, Bailey is set to star in a West End revival of the musical Sunday in the Park with George alongside his former co-star Ariana Grande.
