On this episode of On the Clock, Tyler and Peyton sit down with Arizona State outfielder Landon Hairston, one of the top prospects in the 2027 MLB Draft class and a 2026 Golden Spikes Award finalist. Landon opens up about his journey from Casteel High School to Tempe, the jump in competition between high school and Division I pitching, and the swing adjustments that fueled his massive power breakout (28 home runs, 50 extra-base hits) between his freshman and sophomore seasons. He also shares what it's like coming from a baseball family — his father Scott Harrison played several seasons in the big leagues — reflects on representing Team USA in Taiwan and facing top international arms, talks about the addition of transfer Jackson Hotchkiss and Arizona State's stacked 2027 lineup, and opens up about his move from infield to center field. The conversation wraps with a rapid-fire round covering his favorite food spot in Tempe, his most memorable game, his hidden hockey past, his all-time outfield Mount Rushmore, and more.
