They Feed at Night

<p>Eight-year-old Terrance is supposed to be asleep. Instead, he&#39;s listening to something scratch against his second-story bedroom window. At first, it sounds like a branch brushing the glass. Then it comes again—slower, sharper, deliberate. And when Terrance finally gathers the courage to look outside, he finds a pale face staring back at him from a place no one should be able to stand. Within moments, an ordinary night in a quiet suburban home becomes a desperate fight for survival as Terrance and his family discover they aren&#39;t dealing with a prowler—or anything else that should exist. Pale figures are gathering outside. They are impossibly fast, terrifyingly persistent, and very, very hungry.
