Episode 330 | "Is Kojima Productions now Xbox Exclusive?"

<p>My god, what a week! From epic betrayals, the return of childhood classics and an epic opening showcase for fans, there&#39;s <em>plenty</em> to talk about. We are going to get into it in The DayOne Show Episode 330!</p><p>As always, before we get into things, we do take a moment to dive into the games we&#39;ve been playing this week. The lovely Joe Cumbo has been playing <a href="https://playday.one/2026/09/10/blood-of-dawnwalker-review/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Blood of Dawnwalker</a> and has rendered his verdict on the Xbox Series X version with the &#39;Day One&#39; patch in play, so be sure to go check it out. Nick&#39;s been playing Avatar: Fighting Legends and not having a good time, but thoroughly enjoying what he&#39;s played of Crazy Taxi so far. </p><p>Jon&#39;s been playing co-op puzzle platformer <a href="https://playday.one/2026/09/12/wheelmates-review/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WheelMates</a>, which isn&#39;t too bad for the price, but it&#39;s a shame more wasn&#39;t done to take advantage of WheelMates unique, twitchy RC-Car setup, because on that front, the developers have done a great job. Jesse&#39;s been playing lots of things he can&#39;t talk about, but did talk a little about NBA2K27 and his continued issues with Star Wars Zero Company on PC.</p><p>Beyond the games, there&#39;s a ton of news to talk about. We started the week with a <a href="https://playday.one/2026/09/09/steam-leak-reveals-achievements-for-upcoming-and-unannounced-games/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">surprising leak from Steam</a> that revealed the achievements for a ton of announced and <em>unannounced </em>games. Then, Nintendo made some dreams come true with a Zelda Direct, revealing gameplay for <a href="https://playday.one/2026/09/08/legend-of-zelda-ocarina-of-time-remake-arrives-this-november/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Ocarina of Time</a>, a <a href="https://playday.one/2026/09/08/legend-of-zelda-limited-edition-nintendo-switch-2-console-revealed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Special &#39;Anniversary&#39; Switch 2 console and accessories</a> and even an ocarina you can buy. Nifty! Then we go Nintendo Direct part two, with a ton of 3rd party reveals and some surprises, including <a href="https://playday.one/2026/09/09/metroid-ravenous-announced-arrives-january-2027/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Metroid Ravenous</a> and a <a href="https://playday.one/2026/09
