How Rachel Stopped Working Nights & Weekends, Got Out of Client Delivery — and Made More Money2 sept49 min

This episode is for you if your business looks successful from the outside... but behind the scenes, you're exhausted from holding everything together.

Maybe you have a team, but you still feel guilty giving them too much. You say yes to client requests you don't really want to take on. Your evenings and weekends have quietly become work time, and even when you're with the people you love, part of you is still thinking about the business.

If that's you, I want you to meet Rachel Coles.

Rachel is the founder of UK-based full-service agency Convert Marketing. When we first met, her business was growing. But Rachel herself wasn't doing well.

She was working constantly, answering hundreds and hundreds of client WhatsApp messages each day, struggling with scope creep, taking on work that didn't excite her, and putting everyone else's needs ahead of her own. She had a team, yet everything still seemed to flow through her.

Most painfully, the business she'd originally created to give her more time with her son was taking that time away from her.

Today, so much has changed.

Rachel no longer works weekends. Evenings, if ever she gets to her computer, are a choice, never an obligation. She now has super strong boundaries with clients, trusts her team to own their work fully, has dramatically stepped back from client delivery and operations, and has rediscovered the confidence (and time!) to pursue a passion project on the side that deeply matters to her, including advocating for maternal mental health, speaking to policymakers and writing her first book.

In this conversation, Rachel vulnerably shares what actually created that transformation: boundaries, delegation, understanding each team member's Unique Brilliance, mindset work, accountability and learning to finally believe in herself. Take notes.

Because sometimes the biggest transformation in your business isn't simply what happens to the numbers.

It's what happens to you.
