EP 538 | Don't make my mistakes

Sometimes, the biggest thing keeping us from killing a buck isn’t the deer, the weather, or the wind. It’s our own minds.

This season, I’ve caught myself falling victim to analysis paralysis. I overthink access, wind direction, deer movement, and every little detail until I convince myself not to hunt an area at all. Even on my own farm, I find reasons to stay out of spots that might actually be worth hunting.

In this episode, I’m talking honestly about the mental battle that comes with trying to make every hunt perfect, how overthinking can keep us out of the woods, and why sometimes we just need to quit making excuses, trust what we know, and go hunt.
