Y’all Know I’m Canada Down w/ Rosie Long Decter

From Heated Rivalry to Mile End Kicks and Katy Perry dating former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, why has 2026 been the year of (seemingly) everyone being “Canada Down” and what does this mean for the future of Canadian art? Journalist and musician Rosie Long Decter joins our hosts for a conversation concerning the status of Canadian media across boarders after the success of our most recent cultural exports. With Mark Carney's anti-Trump liberalism taking hold across the country, Saskia, Rosa, and Rosie chat about the media image that Canada brings to the world stage and the American reception of our unique artistic ecosystem.
