Irvin - My wife was on birth control. I ended up getting a vasectomy (I know it's a mortal sin). Should I go confession? (05:22) Dave - Jesus never once addressed Mary as mother in the Bible. How come there are ten Hail Mary’s to the one Our Father in the Rosary? (13:03) Ted (email) - You read an email from a wife and mother of a prospective deacon who uses racial slurs. Amazed to follow up with the readings today that also address that. “For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one Body” and the like. The prospective deacon is not being respectful of part of the Body of Christ. (15:42) Art – I think the Lindsay Clancy stories parallel the Legend La Llorona. One of the stories is that the woman is vindictive and so she drowns her children. There are a lot of women who have done the same thing. (20:36) Mark - Does Patrick think that one can be a Catholic and be a Democrat? (38:56) Mark - I don't think people shouldn't hide behind 'men don't understand post-partem depression...' Every person suffers. (43:51) Mike - What about the children? They've been put on the altar of the pro-choice movement. (48:22)
